Elizabeth Davis is a composer and musician based in Berlin. Her work often uses the interplay of technological limitation, algorithmic processes, and cultural history as subject matter.
For the last decade, she primarily worked under the alias Wilted Woman. Her work has been presented at Sonic Acts Festival, Cafe Oto, The Brick, Transmediale, ZKM, Fylkingen, MaerzMusik, Triennale Milano, 3HD Festival, and Südwestrundfunk amongst many other concert halls, clubs, festivals, and basements across Europe and North America. Davis also regularly produces radio work.
She completed a Bachelors degree from Brown University and a Masters degree in Sound Studies from the University of the Arts in Berlin, where she worked as a guest lecturer in 2022. Davis additionally works as an engineer and instrument builder, developing tools and systems for herself and other artists.
